At SquareFace Studio, we believe in empowering digital creators, game developers, crypto enthusiasts, and community builders without artificial legal bottlenecks. Below is our formal legal verification for all generated content on our platform.

1. Origin & Ownership of Procedural Traits

All 160+ modular facial traits (skin palettes, blocky eyes, kawaii blush, cyber visors, hairstyles, and isometric cube geometry) defined within our procedural engine (`js/assets-library.js` and `js/canvas-engine.js`) are 100% original mathematical algorithms and vector designs created by the SquareFace Studio Engineering Team. We do not use third-party copyrighted sprite sheets or proprietary external graphics.

2. User-Generated Avatars & Commercial Policy

Whenever you customize and generate an avatar using our web studio or open-source Canvas engine, you are granted complete, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free commercial ownership of that specific generated output (both PNG and SVG formats). Specifically, you have full legal right to:

Commercial & Indie Gaming: Use generated avatars as player characters, NPCs, or branding assets in commercial video games, mobile apps, or software without licensing fees.
NFT Minting & Web3: Mint, sell, trade, or fractionalize your generated blocky or 3D cube avatars as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) across any blockchain network (Ethereum, Solana, Polygon, etc.).
Social & Community Branding: Deploy avatars across Discord servers, X/Twitter profiles, YouTube channels, Twitch streams, or physical merchandise (t-shirts, stickers, posters).
Zero Attribution Requirement: While linking back to `https://squareface-generator.pages.dev/` is always appreciated, it is never legally required for any personal or commercial deployment.

3. Open-Source Engine License (MIT)

The underlying JavaScript application, procedural rendering routines, and HTML5 Canvas architecture are licensed under the standard permissive MIT License. You may inspect, fork, self-host, or integrate our engine into your own projects according to the terms specified in our GitHub repository root `LICENSE` file.
